“Ashtanga Yogashala Rishikesh” is the place of traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga in the tradition of Shri K.Pattabhi Jois. shala is based in the small & holy town of Rishikesh, close to the Holy Ganga River. what makes this place special is that it is the gateway to the Himalayas. from where all pilgrimages begin and it is the land, where ancient yogis did their spiritual practices. Rishikesh is also known as the “World Capital of Yoga”. People from the whole world come here to feel the vibes and find peace of mind, happiness, and feel the reality of life. We are an Authorized Ashtanga yoga couple Sachin & Liubov. We have been learning under the guidance of our guru Ji Sharath Jois in Mysore & continuing the journey with him. Sachin & Liubov Badoni are Authorized Ashtanga yoga teachers. They both practice under Guruji Sharath Jois. They met each other in Mysore and fell in love with each other. So they decided to go further and marry. later they moved to Sachin’s hometown “Rishikesh” and opened a shala as Guruji had blessed them. They began to teach and at the same time, they had a beautiful baby daughter. Who are committed to keeping the ashtanga tradition alive.
Our goal is to help people around the world learn more about themselves through understanding their own bodies and minds. We believe that the best way to learn is by doing, so our teachings are based on real, practical experiences. Our yoga practice encourages everyone to live in the moment, to pay attention to the here and now, and to discover the inner wisdom that lies within us all. We are Sachin & Liubov authorised Ashtanga yoga teachers by Sharath R. Jois. It is an honour for us to have this Ashtanga yoga space to share Ashtanga yoga practice and extend our teachings in traditional mysore practice. We are much grateful to share this beautiful practice, which has been a great remedy to many of us to live balanced life and for well being.
